Percy Jackson the Movie VS. Percy Jackson the Book

I thought that Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief movie was very good, but I think the book was better. It went more in-depth about the story than the movie did. A lot of scenes were made up in the movie too, like in the Underworld scene, the Underworld was located under a furniture store, not the Hollywood sign. And the little blue beads that they had to find in the movie were actually given to Percy by his father; Poseidon. So although the movie was good, it lacked some elements to live up to the full potential of the book.
